Mark Finley has been a member of the Avedis Foundation board since the Foundation’s inception in 2012, serving as Board Chair 2019-20.
He is currently a Special Administrator for the District Court of Pottawatomie County, managing disputed estates, trusts, and business transactions.
A lifelong resident of Shawnee, Mark graduated from Shawnee High School in 1972. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1976, he began a brief career in banking. He purchased Finley Cleaners in 1979, operating the business for 22 years before selling the company in 2001. Throughout his career, he has served on several local boards, including as a past Chairman of Mid America Health Care, and has participated in numerous community activities.
Mark and his wife Robin enjoy road trips, driving across the United States exploring national parks, military cemeteries, Civil War battlefields, and obscure sights in rural communities.
