Cami Engles

    Cami Engles is a community leader, entrepreneur and advocate for the arts and economic development in Shawnee.   She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2007. Since moving to Shawnee in 2016 with her husband Dirk, she has been active in civic leadership, serving as a City of Shawnee planning commissioner and city commissioner. She currently serves on the Shawnee Forward board and the Mabee-Gerrer Museum Marketing Committee. In 2023, she was named one of Oklahoma’s 50 Women of Impact by the Journal Record.

    In 2019, Engles opened Theopolis Social Club, a restaurant and music venue on Main Street. With a passion for the arts and downtown revitalization, she is working to restore historic buildings, recruit new businesses, and strengthen Shawnee’s economic vitality.
