The Application Process

Know your next steps

Avedis Foundation operates two grant cycles per year, with proposal deadlines of August 15th and January 15th. Small grants may be considered more often on a discretionary basis.

The Foundation utilizes an electronic Grants Management System for application submissions.

Requests must be initiated through our online Grant Request System. Should the due date fall on a weekend or national holiday, the request will be due the following business day.

Note: All recipients of grants from the Foundation will be required to execute a Grant Agreement with the Foundation.

Grant Meetings

Connect in person

The foundation strongly recommends that organizations schedule a meeting to discuss their proposed grant application with Avedis Senior Program Director prior to submitting their grant application. These meetings will help the Avedis staff gain a better understanding of the organization, its leadership, and the grant proposal. In addition, this meeting assists the grantee in developing a thorough and complete grant application. After the grant application is submitted, a site visit may be scheduled with the grantee.
