Avedis Foundation has just announced an award of $5,000 in a grant to support Parkinson’s care and resources in Pottawatomie County.
“We are proud to partner with the Parkinson’s Foundation to bring meaningful, evidence-based programs to Pottawatomie County that help people maintain independence, improve quality of life, and feel supported every step of the way,” Avedis Foundation President and CEO Dr. Kathy Laster said.
The funding’s focus will be to strengthen access to critical, community-based programs in Shawnee that address the daily challenges of living with Parkinson’s disease.
“This grant will serve Parkinson’s patients and families in Pottawatomie County, and we are thankful for the partnership,” Bruce McIntyre, CEO of the Parkinson’s Foundation of Oklahoma, said.
