Avedis Foundation has just awarded a $10,000 grant to American Red Cross to support disaster preparedness, response and recovery efforts across Pottawatomie County.
“Avedis Foundation is committed to strengthening the safety and well-being of our community,” Avedis Foundation President and CEO Dr. Kathy Laster said. “Partnering with the American Red Cross allows us to help protect vulnerable families, reduce risks and ensure no one faces a disaster alone.”
The funding will help the local American Red Cross provide critical services to individuals and families impacted by home fires, severe weather and other emergencies. Through a network of trained volunteers and partners, the organization delivers immediate assistance, including shelter, food and recovery support.
